Creative Outlet

So, I  thought I would start blogging about my journey in photography and life.  Photography is my creative outlet.  I enjoy seeing the extraordinary in the everyday through my camera lens and capturing it.  I have liked photography  since I was a kid.  I have taken thousands of pictures in my life and I hope to take many more!  I began a business this year and have been blessed by the people that have allowed me to be part of their lives.  It is so fun to spend time with people and allow them to be themselves.  I really enjoy keeping it casual and having a good time.

One of my first photo sessions was with a woman that told me she was extremely nervous when having her photo taken and usually had a hard time getting good photos.  She blessed me by saying that after talking with me, she felt she could trust me with herself.  What an honor!  That is the kind of person and photographer I strive to be.

I really enjoy using natural light.  The light God created at the beginning of time is beautiful and perfect.  My backdrops are His creations as well as man-made buildings and architecture.  I am always open to suggestions and really enjoy when a client opens up and gets creative on the shoot!  That is when they really come to life!

.  God is the most creative entity I know of...just look around you.  A revelation was shown to me this weekend...the sun is rising and setting all the time.  God is continually painting sunsets and sunrises.  These are a sight to behold!  One of the most photographed things on this earth!  We are in awe of it.  Colors we can't even imagine names for are painted across the sky for our enjoyment!  God put that creativity in me.  Yes, it may be used for others' enjoyment, but it is first for Him and for me to enjoy.  That is where my joy is found.; when I meet with him in the creative places of my heart and give my all for His enjoyment.
